Psychiatric Physician Assistant (PA) for an outpatient behavioral health opportunity based in
McBee, South Carolina .
This role offers the opportunity to provide compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric care while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team. You'll practice across regional outpatient clinics, with
two days each week based in McBee , enjoying a predictable weekday schedule, strong clinical support, and an outstanding work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities - Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and evaluations
- Diagnose and manage a variety of behavioral health conditions
- Develop individualized treatment and medication management plans
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate
- Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, nurses, and primary care providers
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record
- Participate in care coordination and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications Required - Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current NCCPA certification
- Active South Carolina Physician Assistant license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum of 2 years of psychiatric or behavioral health experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care
Preferred - Experience in outpatient psychiatry or integrated behavioral health
- Comfortable managing patients with a broad range of psychiatric diagnoses
- Experience with eClinicalWorks or similar EMR platforms
Compensation & Benefits - Base Salary: $100,000-$120,000
